Hillsboro, Ind – Services for Albert Davidson, 87, Hillsboro, a retired farmer and carpenter will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro. He died yesterday at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville.  Survivors – wife Bertha; daughters, Cathryn Melin, Betty Barnette, Joan Nicson; son James; brother Charley; sisters Mary Davidson, Ethel Read, Elizabeth Brunot. – kbz

Albert Davidson, 87, Hillsboro, died Friday morning, Nov. 26, 1976 in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health many years. Mr. Davidson was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and had attended Bonebrake and Wallace schools. Born April 19, 1889, near Veedersburg he was a son of Howard and Mollie Keeling Davidson. He was married to Bertha Corbin on Oct. 7, 1914, at Nevada, Iowa. She survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ward (Kathryn) Melvin, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Barnette and Mrs. Scott (Jean) Nicoson, all of Crawfordsville; a son, James A. of Hillsboro; two brothers, Charlie of Indianapolis and Sam of Wallace, Six sisters, Mary Davidson, Ethel Reed and Elizabeth Brunot of Indianapolis, Bessie Crowder of Hillsboro, Marjorie Brown of rural Veedersburg and Nina Crim of Benton Harbor, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A son, daughter, brother, and sister are deceased. Services in Crumley & Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with the Rev. Ernest Hayden officiating. Burial in Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. - jlr
